The North Colonie Youth Baseball Association (NCYBA) is a 501(c)(3)not-for-profit, organization that provides the opportunity for children, ages four to eighteen, to participate in amateur baseball. As a Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken chartered league, NCYBA is dedicated to the goal of promoting youth baseball, and shares in the Babe Ruth mission of "using regulation baseball rules to teach skills, mental and physical development, a respect for the rules of the game, and basic ideals of sportsmanship and fair play. We are committed to providing our participants the very best educational, sports experience possible. It is our fundamental belief that every child with a desire to play baseball be afforded that opportunity." This spirit of honesty, integrity, fair play and sportsmanship is the foundation of our programs which we hope to share with our players, families and throughout the entire community.
NCYBA also offers a Challenger program designed and dedicated to children and young adults with special needs, either physical or emotional, between the ages of 5 to 21.
NCYBA is completely staffed by dedicated volunteers, from our senior leadership, through our coaching staffs and field crews, each going above and beyond. We thank all of our past, current, and future volunteers for their efforts, which supports the best youth baseball program in the Capital District!
NCYBA is also proudly supported by local professionals and businesses, who we greatly appreciate for their continued support of our programs and the players and families who participate in them.
NCYBA is proud to call the Boght Baseball Complex home. Just off Route 9 in Latham, our beautiful facility includes two full size 60/90 college/high school fields, two 50/70 Cal Ripken major fields, three 46/60 Cal Ripken junior fields, and a 46/60 tee ball field. Our facility is one of the most extensive in the area, allowing us to offer a full range of youth baseball programs.
